The Good Life Center for Mental Health recognizes that no two people are alike and there is no one size fits all for treatment. We work collaboratively with clients to identify the specific needs and challenges that they would like to address. Together, we then determine which interventions will likely be most helpful for achieving one’s goals. Clinicians at the Good Life Center for Mental Health have extensive experience helping clients with a variety of challenges, including managing acute and chronic stressors, overcoming mood and anxiety symptoms, managing relational stress, gaining control of self-defeating habits and behaviors, and coping with sudden and expected losses.

The therapeutic process begins with a comprehensive assessment which strives to determine clients’ individual needs, motivation for change, personal strengths, support system, and cultural and religious values and ethnic identity. Utilizing information about clients’ preferences and past therapeutic experiences, we develop a personalized treatment plan that identifies reachable goals that can bring about tangible and powerful improvements.
The Good Life Center for Mental Health offers both individual psychotherapy and group therapy to help adults reach their goals. Our therapists are trained in a number of therapeutic methods including, TEAM Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Game-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
