Manhattan (New York), New York
The Good Life Center for Mental Health offers assistance to residents of Manhattan through a secure telehealth platform.
The center has had the ability to deliver telehealth service since its inception in 2019, prior to the onset of the Covid 19 Pandemic. We provided a convenient service option to clients interested in receiving services from the comfort of their homes. Once the Covid 19 Pandemic erupted, the Good Life Center easily transitioned the delivery of services to its entire clientele, protecting the safety of therapist and clients as well. Our clients did not experience any interruption in services.
The Center provides services for residents of Manhattan to meet their specific therapeutic needs. Our services are comprehensive, and we will tailor treatment to the precise needs of every individual who reaches out to us seeking assistance. During the Covid 19 Pandemic we offer sessions through secure video conferencing and have an online client portal for appointment scheduling, secure messaging, and to retrieve invoices.
For adults in need of support, we provide professional psychotherapeutic services for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and self–esteem difficulties. We also offer grief and bereavement counseling and trauma treatment. We offer assistance to clients seeking to better cope and control undesirable habits as well as difficulties associated with procrastination.
For older adolescents in need for services, we provide assistance to young clients experiencing difficulties with depression, anxiety, and poor self–esteem difficulties. We also provide treatment for grief and bereavement, trauma, habits and procrastination difficulties for minors. Furthermore, we are available to help youngsters overcome organizational difficulties, behavioral difficulties, social skills challenges and problems related to the school environment.
To address clients’ therapeutic needs, our therapists utilize a number of therapeutic modalities including TEAM Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Game-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT), trauma-informed treatments and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Clients are provided with individual services, family sessions and/or group therapy services (when available).
